Carbon Black Content: 44–46% (GB/T 13021)
At 5% dosing, this delivers exactly 2.0–2.5% carbon black in the finished pipe — the minimum threshold for UV protection per ISO 4427.
Carbon Black Dispersion: ≤ Grade 3 (GB/T 18251)
No agglomerates >60μm. No fish eyes. No streaks. Poor dispersion = stress concentration points = premature slow crack growth failure.
Ash Content: ≤ 0.30% (GB/T 9345.1)
Inorganic impurities destroy pipe toughness and inner wall smoothness. Above 0.30% = non-compliant, no exceptions.
Moisture & Volatile: ≤ 350 ppm (0.035%)
Above this, you get bubbles, popping, and microvoids during extrusion. The pipe wall becomes porous before it even leaves the factory.
MFR (190°C/5kg): 1.0–10.0 g/10min (GB/T 3682.1)
Must match your base resin. Too far off = poor mixing, surging, carbon black streaks in the pipe wall.
OIT (210°C): ≥ 30 min (GB/T 19466.6)
This is your longterm used insurance policy. Below 30 min, the antioxidant system can’t survive processing — let alone decades in service.
These six numbers aren’t independent. They interact: high carbon loading makes dispersion harder; mineral fillers that raise ash also kill OIT; moisture during compounding ruins dispersion even if content is correct.
